Investing with your Values in Mind

As Kermit the Frog says, it's not easy being green. But for today's investors, it's easier than ever to invest green. That's because increased awareness and socially focused investments are giving investors the opportunity to support causes that are important to them through their portfolios. 

Net Impact Edmonton (NIE) Professional Chapter and Protect Our Winters (POW) Edmonton are delighted to welcome Alicja Brown from Brown Investment Group at CIBC Wood Gundy for a conversation on investing with our values in mind and how our money can be managed by our financial advisors, pensions providers, etc., in a way that aligns with our values, climate goals and sustainability priorities.

The event will begin with a 30 min of informal networking (drink included in ticket), followed by a presentation and fireside chat with Alicja Brown with questions from the audience. At the end, we will conduct a group “identifying your values" exercise and some reference questions that attendees can take away to use in their own lives.
